んーでもね、逆なんだよね。あの父親になった時にあんまり自分の中で大きな変化を感じなかったですよね。母親ほどは。
It’s actually the opposite. When I became a father, I didn't really feel a big change – not as much as my wife.
んーやっぱりあの対照的に母親の姿も描いてますけど視点はやっぱりあくまでも主人公父親から描いたつもりでいます。
Of course I wrote from the mother’s perspective too but undoubtedly my intention was to write from the father’s point of view.
あの相手方の家族のベースになってるのは僕自身の子供時代に経験したあるしゅの、こう、古典的な日本の家族像を反映させましたし。もう一方の主人公の家の方が今僕が東京で核家族で子供一人で暮らしてる、その日常生活を反映させました。そこベースに考えてます。
The second family was based on my own childhood experience, reflecting the image of a classic Japanese family. The other family’s house is more similar to my current living situation in Tokyo with one child, and this is reflected in their daily lives.
僕もだから彼がなぜあんな男になったのか？あのこういう状況だったからどんなことだろう、なぜこんな男になったんだろうっていうこと僕もあの想像しながら、お客さんと同じように想像しながら、あの考えて作って、段々段々彼に近づいてくるように作ったつもりなんですけれども。
I too wondered why he’d become such a man, what must've happened? While imagining this, in the same way as viewers would, I gradually came closer to creating his character.
